I'm leaving tonight to go see Nishi in Massachusetts for a few days. I'm so excited. Not only do I get to see one of the best friends I've ever had again, but I'll also get to see a part of the country that I've never seen before. It'll be a good trip. A Red Sox game in historic Fenway Park, talking to Nishi about our respective boy problems, a Boston Duck Tour, talking to Nishi about our respective boy problems, shopping and eating in non-Provo/Orem establishments, talking to Nishi about our respective boy problems, etc. It should be good; I'm really excited.
I'm still trying to figure out what the heck I'm going to wear, though. It's such a tricky thing. I obviously need to look hot for Nishi, because she has known me since 7th grade, and the way I used to dress then...I don't even want to think about it. I know I've done a lot to prove that I'm not a total reject, but I'll forever be mildly self-conscious around anyone who knew me in middle school. They are such ugly years.
And for those that will miss me while I'm on vacation, here's a little something to cheer you up. It also, of course, reminds me of the Nishi years of life:
