Transformers
When I was dating Tony he made me promise that I would go to see Transformers with him when it came out. So all in all, I figured it was a good thing that we're not together anymore. Unfortunately, current boyfriend, Trevor, calls this morning: "Andrea, listen to me. You have to come see it. It's robots in disguise. How could that not be cool?" Males, I roll my eyes at you.

Um, I went to see Transformers last night. As one would expect, the audience was made up mainly of fairly nerdy looking males between the ages of 15 and 25. I thought the movie was kind of ridiculous, but the people I was with (males between the ages of 15 and 25, naturally) thought it was awesome. Go figure. But it wasn't a total waste, because I really really like Shia LaBeouf.

My brother is dying to go see it. I told him I'd take him to a movie this summer, so far he's wanted to see both movies about rats (yuck. Why make a movie about rats? They're gross. Okay, liked the Rats of Nimh, but that's different.) and Transformers. Oi. All I can do is hope it doesn't come to our dinky two-screen theater.
