Question of the Day #463

If you had the opportunity to go swimming in a substance that is not water, what would it be?

My answer: Champagne. For three reasons - 1) The alcohol would make it somewhat sanitary. 2) The bubbles would feel cool. 3) It seems like something people who are hilariously rich would do before throwing away the $3,000 gem-encrusted swimsuits they purchased for the occasion.

don't you remember when we designed our dream houses, and besides the regular swimming pool, you added a small pool that you could fill with other substances when you got curious about what swimming in them would be like (I believe cotton balls, pudding, and dollar bills were among the possibilities)? it's good to know your focusses haven't really changed that much, but have only gotten classier (champagne obviously being like ten times as classy as pudding).

Wow, I had totally forgotten about that, L. I'm really glad you've brought that up, though. Apparently I'm just as awesome as I once was.

Um...apple juice? Why can I only think of beverages a toddler can drink? My other idea was milk, but that would be gross.
